Working from home during the Stay at Home order has it’s own challenges. Below are some tips to help you transition from office:
Maintain a regular routine and include scheduled breaks. Take your breaks in their entirety. Step out of your workspace and disconnect during your break. If possible, go outside. Take a walk.
Set ground rules for those sharing your space. Build a schedule for children at home that coordinates with your work schedule. Schedule quiet activities or screen time during conference calls or when you need time to concentrate.
Maintain a dedicated workspace and let your employer know if you need additional resources to enable you to be more productive at home. Use a separate phone number if possible and VPN if available.
Socialize virtually with colleagues. “Show up” to video conferences or conference calls and contribute.
