Galveston County continues to seek the safest way to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on our community. As we move through the process of societal restoration, it is imperative that we continue to take personal responsibility for our part in ensuring that everything possible is done to slow the spread of the coronavirus. When the State of Texas allows businesses to reopen, business owners and the community at large should do their part in reducing the risk of additional COVID-19 outbreaks that would shut them down again.
With that in mind, Galveston County, in coordination with the Local Health Authority, Dr. Phillip Keiser, has developed the following guidelines for businesses and organizations to use as a reference.
