Windy and Dry Today Across SETX

January 15, 2021

‼ HOUSTON / GALVESTON Potential For Some Frozen Precipitation On Sunday

January 7, 2021

The next storm system will be moving into the area Sunday and Sunday night. We are monitoring the potential for frozen precipitation across parts of the region. There is considerable uncertainty in regards to the specific details this far out. Those with maritime interests should anticipate unsettled weather with widespread (liquid) precipitation, strong winds and elevated seas as a coastal low moves across the waters followed by a cold frontal passage.

‼ Severe Weather Possible Today

January 6, 2021

A cold front will move through the region today, bringing a line of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms could become strong to severe this afternoon with damaging winds and isolated tornadoes/waterspouts as the main risks. Severe weather threat will diminish from west to east through early this evening.
