🚧 DICKINSON Construction Alert❗ December 14th, I-45 SB 1 Main Lane Closed Between FM-646 and FM-517

December 14, 2021

Texas Department of Transportation UPDATE: The right I-45 southbound main lane, between FM-646 and FM-517, will be closed Tuesday December 14 from 9AM to 3PM. The closure will include entrance and exit ramps within those limits. Traffic can enter the IH-45 main lanes via the entrance ramp from SH-96. Traffic can exit the main lanes via the Exit Ramp to FM-517. This closure will allow for traffic to be switched into the newly constructed frontage road sections between FM-646 & FM-517.
Additionally, in the days prior to the switch, smaller scale continuous closures of Hughes Ln. and Cross Colony Dr., at their respective intersections with the I-45 southbound frontage road, will be in effect for the construction of new pavement sections. Access to these streets will remain available through FM-646 and FM-517. These streets will reopen at the culmination of the traffic switch. Please view the map of these closures with dates for closures in the comments of this post!
We will share this again, Monday the 13th, as a reminder but in an effort to communicate these closures in advance we wanted to share this with you now!
