Galveston County Health District and Coastal Health & Wellness will open up a FREE drive-thru COVID-19 testing site next week. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

✔️ Must be a Galveston County resident

✔️ No insurance needed

✔️ Open to ages 4+

  • You must be a Galveston County resident.
  • No out-of-pocket cost for those with no insurance.
  • If you have insurance, the company will be billed and you may be responsible for a co-pay.

COVID-19 Testing For Galveston County Residents

January 6, 2022

Galveston County is partnering with UTMB to offer COVID-19 testing for Galveston County residents at no out-of-pocket cost. Those with insurance will have their insurance billed and may be responsible for copay. Testing is available by appointment only. County residents may schedule an appointment by calling 832.632.6731. A government issued form of identification will be required at the time of testing to verify residency.

COASTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS REMAINS 'ROOTED IN COMMUNITIES' – The Post NewspaperThose who are uninsured may be tested through Coastal Health & Wellness after being financially screened.
