There is a broken natural gas line in the 2900 block of I45 south on the southbound side of the freeway near the feeder road. The city is aware and League City Volunteer Fire Department is on scene. At this time, there is no danger to surrounding businesses but you may smell an odor of natural gas throughout the area.
Last Thursday, the Galveston County COVID-19 Business Taskforce partnered with Workforce Solutions to host a countywide job fair. More than 40 employers set up at the event and met with over 500 potential employees.
