In Galveston County the Community Emergency Response Team (GCCERT) is an indispensable component of our emergency/disaster response.
GCCERT volunteers are trained in a broad number of response scenarios and are able to act as force multipliers to first responders in critical situations.

The Galveston County Medical Reserve Corps (GCMRC) is a community oriented service organization. Our mission is to help Galveston County in the event of a public health emergency.
